The first layer consists of a blend of NOMEX®, FR viscose, and elastane, and the second consists of a non-woven meta-aramid textile layer made of DuPont™ NOMEX® Nano Flex, which acts as a barrier against harmful micro- and nanoparticles.

Unlike other fire-retardant and particle-resistant hoods on the market, it is equipped with HeiQ Smart Temp technology. It helps to automatically regulate body temperature in extreme situations, thereby reducing the risk of fatigue, dehydration, heatstroke, or even heat stress caused by high temperatures.

Ideal for
- Structural firefighting.
- High-level protection against thermal risks such as flashover, contact, and radiant heat.
- Acts as a barrier against carcinogenic and harmful particles (protection level of 99.99%)
- Excellent protection and comfort thanks to two layers of lightweight, breathable blended fabric made of DuPont™ aramid fibers, Viscose FR®, polyamide, and elastane, as well as an intermediate layer of DuPont™ Nomex® Nano Flex* non-woven fabric.
- With HeiQ Smart Temp cooling technology for better comfort and reduction of the risk of heat exhaustion, fatigue, and heatstroke.

* Located in head areas that are more exposed to particles

Features
- The fire-resistant fabric has been tested and certified and offers protection against heat and flames.
- Certified product that possesses a protective fabric with electrostatic properties to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges that could ultimately generate sparks. A spark can, under certain circumstances, cause a fire or explosion.
- Thanks to its trilaminate fabric and the DuPont™ NOMEX® Nano Flex technology in the middle layer, this product blocks the passage of harmful microparticles and prevents them from coming into contact with the firefighter's skin.
- The hood has been externally tested and certified as compatible with various SCBA masks: - It retains its shape and fit - There is no gap between the hood and the breathing apparatus, neither at the beginning nor at the end. - It has no breaks in the seams.
- A revolutionary textile technology that gives fabrics the ability to interact with body temperature and react dynamically to body heat. The cooling function is activated when sweating and deactivated when cooling is complete. It helps to ensure optimal comfort and performance. HeiQ Smart Temp was specifically developed for textiles close to the skin and brings a new level of thermal comfort.
- Fabric structure that wicks sweat and vapor away from the body through the fabric. Ensures comfort and helps keep body temperature stable.
- Can be worn under a helmet.
- Elastic face opening of the balaclava, which offers a comfortable fit in various wearing positions

Details
Age: Adult
Composition:
- Inner Layer/Outer Layer: 56% M-Aramid Nomex®, 31% Viscose FR, 6% Polyamide, 3% P-Aramid Kevlar®, 2% Carbon fiber P-140, 2% Elastane.
- Middle Layer: 100% DuPont™ Nomex Nano Flex®
Care instructions: 60 °C colored wash
Manufactured: Made in Spain

https://www.militaershop.ch/en/products/buff-safety-firefighter-particulate-hoods-solid-paris-blue-feuerfest-127741-799-10
