Does army clothing have what it takes to be comfortable functional wear?

Most people probably think of camouflage patterns, tactical vests, and heavy boots when they hear "army clothing." And there is no question that we carry all of this and much more in our Swiss military shop. Nonetheless, established military forces are equipped by renowned brand manufacturers. These stand for quality, functionality, and reliable protection, even under adverse weather conditions. As a result, they meet the same requirements as conventional functional clothing. When heading out into nature or spending time outdoors, it is important to apply the layering principle. This is less about wearing as many layers as possible, and more about ensuring that the various layers of functional or army clothing are coordinated so that we feel comfortable in any wind or weather. The first layer, closest to the body, is the underwear. Here, it is important to ensure that it keeps the skin dry. The second layer of functional and military clothing serves to insulate the body and maintain a consistent, pleasantly warm temperature. Our layer clothing system is ideal for this. Finally, with the third layer, you ensure that you form an effective climate barrier against the outside world. Depending on the weather, army clothing should be both water-repellent and warming. In addition to classic trousers, shirts, and sweaters, we also stock rainwear as well as a large selection of headgear, scarves, and gloves for this purpose.
