SteriPEN products offer the right solution. The brand is known for its water purifiers that fit into any backpack. Relatively large quantities of water can be treated with minimal effort. This is achieved by using the disinfecting effect of UV light. No chemical additives are used. The result: drastic germ reduction – fast, simple, and reliable. This makes the handy SteriPEN water purifier an essential accessory for all outdoor fans, hikers, mountaineers, and nature lovers.

How does water purification with the SteriPEN water purifier work?

With SteriPEN, water becomes drinkable in a short time – completely without pumping or chemicals. The water purifier is the fastest of its kind and eliminates: ✓ Viruses
✓ Bacteria

✓ Giardia
✓ Cryptosporidium Usage is very simple. Activate the SteriPEN at the push of a button and hold the included UV lamp in the water you want to treat. Then stir the water until the purifier's lamp lights up green. You can now drink the water or use it for cooking. You do not need test strips or indicator strips to check the quality of the water.

How does SteriPEN purify the water?

The innovative SteriPEN features an integrated microprocessor. It controls the LED indicator, the UV dose, and the water sensors that activate the UV lamp upon contact with water. For water treatment, the SteriPEN water purifier uses short-wave, germicidal UV-C radiation. This range of UV light destroys the DNA of microorganisms. This renders them unable to reproduce and prevents them from causing harm to the human body. Water treatment using UV light has been common practice for over 60 years to clean water. It is used as a safe and reliable purification solution by municipal water treatment plants, bottled drinking water facilities, as well as hotels and clinics.

How much water can I purify with the SteriPEN?

The device is not only easy to use, it is also highly efficient. You can have fresh and healthy drinking water in less than a minute. The SteriPEN takes 45 seconds to purify half a liter.
