PRODUCT DETAILS

All about Earmuffs, Optime I, H510A, yellow, SNR = 27 dB

The 3M Peltor Optime I earmuffs are particularly lightweight and provide perfect all-around protection for a wide range of applications.
This model ensures high visibility thanks to its high-viz design in a bright signal yellow.
For moderate noise exposure in industrial environments (workshops, metal processing, printing plants) as well as private use (lawn mowing, other noisy leisure activities).
The wide, comfortable sealing rings are filled with a unique combination of liquid and foam, guaranteeing an optimal seal and low contact pressure, thus ensuring the best possible comfort even during prolonged use.
A slim profile allows for combination with other protective equipment (e.g., a helmet).

Features
- EN352-1:2002
- SNR= 27dB
- H= 32dB, M=25 dB, L=15 dB
- Application range: 87-98 dB
- non-foldable

Technical specifications
Attenuation in decibels (dB): 27 dB (SNR)
Attenuation frequency H (High): 32 dB
Attenuation frequency M (Medium): 25 dB
Attenuation frequency L (Low): 15 dB
Foldable: No
Weight: 174 g

Scope of delivery
- 1 earmuff (H510A)

What does the SNR value mean?

SNR stands for "Single Number Rating" and denotes the mean attenuation of a hearing protector, thus indicating its average protective effect. The SNR value refers to the average attenuation value of the frequency range relevant to human hearing, from 125 to 8,000 Hz. For example, an SNR value of 30 dB (30 decibels) reduces noise pollution of 100 dB (100 decibels) to a comfortable 70 dB (70 decibels). Hearing protection should be available starting from 80 dB (80 decibels). Long-term hearing damage can occur at levels starting from 85 dB (85 decibels) over a longer period (40-hour work week).

Important: The higher the noise level, the shorter the time one should be exposed to the noise!
