Firefighter Particulate Hoods, Solid Paris Blue (Fire-resistant)

This fire-resistant hood has been developed to protect firefighters not only from fire but also from the risk of skin exposure to various toxic and carcinogenic particles.

To protect the skin, it uses a three-layer fabric to shield the most vulnerable areas of the head and neck. The first layer consists of a blend of NOMEX®, FR viscose, and elastane, and the second consists of a non-woven meta-aramid textile layer made of DuPont™ NOMEX® Nano Flex, which acts as a barrier against harmful micro- and nanoparticles.

Unlike other fire-retardant and particle-resistant hoods on the market, it is equipped with HeiQ Smart Temp technology. It helps to automatically regulate body temperature in extreme situations, thereby reducing the risk of fatigue, dehydration, heatstroke, or even heat stress caused by high temperatures.

- Certified product that possesses a protective fabric with electrostatic properties to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges that could ultimately generate sparks. A spark can, under certain circumstances, cause a fire or explosion.
- Thanks to its trilaminate fabric and the DuPont™ NOMEX® Nano Flex technology in the middle layer, this product blocks the passage of harmful microparticles and prevents them from coming into contact with the firefighter's skin.
