This grate is truly universal: placed on top, it serves as a grill or a stable base for smaller pots and cups. When inserted in a special position halfway down, it forms a perfect base for using spirit burners (Trangia). Furthermore, in this middle position, the grate is also ideal for using wood pellets or charcoal – lower fuel consumption with a more effective and constant cooking or grilling temperature over a long period (one cup of pellets lasts for approx. 30 minutes of operation).
