Thanks to the shatterproof 360° polycarbonate lens, there is no unwanted shadowing caused by distracting plastic parts on the lamp. The BatteryGuard™ function is integrated into the lamp’s on/off switch and prevents battery leakage or energy loss.

BatteryGuard™ Technology
BatteryGuard™ – preserves battery power until it is needed. Normal electric lamps lose battery power over time, even when they are switched off. This happens because the battery is never completely disconnected from the contacts. With BatteryGuard™ technology and the simple flick of a switch, battery failure is a thing of the past. BatteryGuard™ is automatically activated as soon as the lamp is switched off via the on/off switch. This disconnects the battery unit from the circuit, meaning that the batteries in the lamp can neither leak nor corrode. This not only protects your Coleman® lamp, it also gives the user an extra level of security – battery life is preserved for situations where you rely on your lamp!
