Cold weather jacket

The close-fitting 3D cut adapts optimally to the body shape and fits perfectly as additional insulation under layer 3 and/or layer 4. This allows us to achieve optimal thermal insulation and avoid cold bridges. Furthermore, the ultralight jacket impresses with its high breathability. The outer fabric is wind- and water-repellent. The jacket can also be worn individually and impresses with maximum cold protection at minimal weight.

Layer 1 - The underwear
The underwear keeps the skin dry
The first layer (Layer 1) optimally climatizes the body during the active phase. No shivering during the rest phase, thanks to optimal drying time. Layer 1 must always be worn directly on the skin and forms the basis for optimal body climate control.

Layer 2 - The insulation layer
The insulation layer keeps you ideally warm
Layer 2 supports climate regulation in cooler environmental conditions and guarantees an additional thermal buffer during the rest phase, without creating an undesirable and unpleasant heat build-up effect during active phases.

Layer 3 - The climate barrier
The climate barrier creates an optimal climate
Layer 3 is an efficient moisture valve. Due to its hydrophilic (water-absorbing) inside and its hydrophobic (water-repellent) outside, there is no backflow of water condensate, and the skin remains climatized.

Well-being under the toughest conditions!
This arguably most modern and unique layer clothing system was developed as a research project by armasuisse (procurement agency of the Swiss Armed Forces) in close cooperation with Christian Eschler AG at Empa St. Gallen and tested to the extreme.
The controlled climatization of the body is the secret! The functional clothing system keeps you dry and warm in the rest phase and cools optimally during physical activity. Since excess heat and moisture can be released very well into the environment, the clothing offers maximum well-being even during great physical exertion. Thanks to the use of silver in the functional fiber, odor formation is prevented.
