Short-sleeve T-shirt - Layer 1

Short-sleeved shirt with a round neckline. Intentionally tailored for a snug fit to ensure optimal moisture transport. Extended back section for kidney protection. Very soft and pleasant to the touch.

Two-layer knit construction using different yarns for the inside (coarse filament yarn) and the outside (fine filament yarn). Thanks to the different yarns, a capillary gradient is created, through which sweat is transported away from the body to the next layer. You feel drier and more comfortable. Thanks to a 1/3 larger surface area, we achieve a faster re-drying time. The antibacterial finish inhibits odor formation.

Layer 1 - The Underwear
The underwear keeps the skin dry
The first layer (Layer 1) optimally regulates the body's climate during the active phase. No shivering during the rest phase, thanks to an optimal re-drying time. Layer 1 must always be worn directly on the skin and forms the basis for optimal body climate control.

Layer 2 - The Insulation Layer
The insulation layer provides ideal warmth
Layer 2 supports climate regulation in cooler environmental conditions and guarantees an additional thermal buffer during the rest phase, without creating an undesirable and uncomfortable heat build-up effect during active phases.

Layer 3 - The Climate Barrier
The climate barrier creates an optimal climate
Layer 3 is an efficient moisture valve. Due to its hydrophilic (water-absorbing) inside and its hydrophobic (water-repellent) outside, there is no backflow of water condensate, and the skin remains climate-regulated.

This arguably most modern and unique layer clothing system was developed as a research project by armasuisse (procurement agency of the Swiss Armed Forces) in close cooperation with Christian Eschler AG at Empa St. Gallen and tested under the toughest conditions.
Controlled body climate regulation is the secret! The functional clothing system keeps you dry and warm during the rest phase and cools optimally during physical activity. Since excess heat and moisture can be released very well into the environment, the clothing offers maximum well-being even during great physical exertion. Thanks to the use of silver in the functional fiber, odor formation is prevented.
