Cartridge lifespan
approx. 350 press cycles (250 liters); when the "press time" reaches 25-30 seconds (or three years have passed since the first use), it is time to replace your purification cartridge. The lifespan decreases when purifying water with a high content of silt, sediment, or tannins. The cartridge press time increases towards the end of the cartridge lifespan.

Cartridge shelf life
An unopened purification cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years when stored under proper conditions. After a cartridge has been used, it will last for at least 3 more years.
