All about Geopress Purifier Cartridge (Black) water filter
The Geopress replacement filters are designed for a lifespan of approx. 350 cycles (250 liters).
The lifespan decreases if water with a high content of silt, sediment, or tannins is purified. The cartridge press time increases toward the end of the cartridge's life. When the press time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced.
Even if the flow time increases, the cartridge continues to provide protection.
It is advisable to replace the cartridge at some point, despite any ecological concerns.
Cartridge shelf life:
An unopened purification cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years when stored under appropriate conditions. After a cartridge has been used, it will last for at least 3 more years.
