BeFree Gravity Water Filtration System 10L

The slim, foldable Katadyn BeFree Gravity 10L filter system uses gravity to provide fresh, clean water you can rely on. At the heart of the BeFree Gravity 10L is the EZ-Clean Membrane™, which enables an extra-fast flow rate of 2 liters per minute. The water passes through a hollow fiber filter that reliably removes bacteria, cysts, and sediment with a pore size of 0.1 microns (0.0001 mm). Thanks to the viewing window, the water level in the filter bag is clearly visible. With the practical carrying strap, the filled filter can be easily transported from the water source back to camp and hung from a nearby tree. The outlet hose can be easily detached using a quick-release valve with an automatic shut-off, preventing contact with contaminated water during refilling. The filter capacity is up to 1000L, depending on water quality. To clean the EZ-Clean Membrane™, simply shake or swish it in water in the field or at home. Filtered water can be stored in a separate canister, bottle, or water bladder. The opening of the container used for the filtered water should be as small as possible to prevent dirt from entering. If the filtered water is not used on the same day, it can be preserved safely and easily with Katadyn Micropur.
