Expedition Water Filter

The Katadyn Expedition water filter is an extremely robust high-performance filter that is perfectly suited for filtering large volumes of water. Thanks to the silver-impregnated ceramic filter, water is reliably cleared of bacteria, protozoa, turbidity, and other contaminants, resulting in high-quality drinking water. The mini-pores of the ceramic filter (pore size: 0.2 microns = 0.0002 mm) are smaller than the aforementioned microorganisms. Due to their size, these cannot pass through the filter element and are removed from the water. The Katadyn Expedition filters up to 4 liters per minute, making it ideal for large groups. The service life is up to 100,000 liters, although this depends on water quality.
