Explorer Activated Carbon Refill Pack (2 pieces)

Activated carbon is used due to its reducing effect on organic, inorganic, and harmful substances in water. It reduces taste- and odor-impairing substances as well as chlorine, pesticides (lindane, DDT), and trihalomethanes (THMs). These substances are adsorbed by the large surface area of the activated carbon. Once fully saturated, the activated carbon cannot be regenerated and must be replaced.
