Atago Grill

The extremely robust and outdoor-ready Petromax Atago is an absolute all-rounder that can be used as a grill, oven, stove, or fire bowl. Thanks to the infinitely adjustable air supply and temperature control, cooking and grilling under the open sky reach a new level of quality!

Ready to use in just one movement
Thanks to its unique folding mechanism, the Petromax Atago is ready for use in a single move. And it is just as quickly folded back up again. With a height of only 15 cm when collapsed, it can be stowed away excellently and in a space-saving manner.

Effective heating with the "chimney effect"
The highly sophisticated design of the Atago allows for optimal use of the chimney effect. By means of the infinitely adjustable air supply, the temperature can be regulated as desired, while a maximum opening ensures exceptionally rapid heating. In addition, the circular cutouts in the material ensure optimal ventilation.

Unique two-cylinder construction
Due to its double-walled construction, the Petromax Atago is not only a real eye-catcher but also stores heat so effectively inside that the outer cylinder barely heats up, even during prolonged use.

Numerous possibilities
Charcoal, charcoal briquettes, and firewood are all suitable for lighting the fire. The Atago offers the following three modes of operation:

… as a grill
The Petromax Atago can be used quite classically as a grill, fueled by charcoal or briquettes. A matching grill grate is included in the scope of delivery.

… as an oven or stove
The Petromax Atago can also be used with a Dutch Oven or wok. For this purpose, simply place the cast-iron fire pot (e.g., the Petromax ft3, ft6, or ft9) onto the glowing briquettes inside the Petromax Atago. The Atago encloses the fire pot, ensuring an optimal heat yield in combination with the cast-iron pot. The wok, on the other hand, is placed directly on top of the Petromax Atago's circular opening. The Atago can be expanded into a convection oven: with the help of the separately available convection lid, you can prepare pizza.

… as a fire bowl
After the Petromax Atago has been used to prepare food, a cozy campfire can be lit for the evening directly inside the Atago. Due to the round shape, firewood and kindling can be stacked in a pyramid shape with particular ease.
