Fire anchor

The Petromax Fire Anchor quickly and easily turns any campfire into a multifunctional cooking station with grilling capabilities. Whether over a campfire or a fire bowl – the coated steel fire anchor can be effortlessly anchored into the ground right next to the desired fire source. It thus offers a wide range of possibilities, from cooking in a Dutch Oven (up to and including the ft6) and heating water in a tea kettle to grilling on the practical grill grate.

The fire anchor features a main pole that is fixed into the ground and three arms that can be individually attached to the fire anchor and adjusted in height and orientation. Two arms each have three notches where cookware, such as a Dutch Oven or tea kettle, can be securely suspended. The third arm features a grill grate as well as an additional notch for grill gloves or grill and coal tongs. The spacious, chrome-plated steel grill grate has a raised edge so that food can be placed securely.

Before using the fire anchor, the condition of the ground at the fire site must always be checked to ensure that the versatile cooking station provides a stable hold for the Dutch Oven and other items. Furthermore, when cooking with heavy Dutch Ovens, one should always ensure proper weight distribution to the opposite side to guarantee the stability of the fire anchor.
