For outdoor cooking, an independent food supply is essential. The double-walled and hollow-insulated Petromax cooler provides reliable support in this regard. The Petromax coolers of the kx series keep ice frozen for up to 12 days. The ultra-passive cooling system requires neither electricity nor other energy sources and is operated solely with commercially available ice, ice packs, or dry ice. With a capacity of 25 l, the kx25 also offers sufficient storage space. A major advantage: The interior dimensions are designed so that either 24 x 0.33 l cans or up to 12 x 1 l bottles can be transported upright.

Strong format
With an insulation layer at least 45 mm thick, a constant temperature for the preservation of food and drinks is ensured. Furthermore, the PE body is so robustly constructed that the kx25 can also be used as an elevated standing platform or a comfortable seat. Thanks to its cuboid shape, it is also easy to stack and stow away. The integrated drainage system allows for the easy draining of meltwater, which simplifies refilling with ice during operation as well as subsequent cleaning.

Up to any challenge
Strap guides provided on the lid of the cooler make transport on a boat or loading area easy. The ergonomically shaped side handles ensure optimal handling and guarantee comfortable carrying even when the cooler is fully loaded. At the same time, the handles can be used as tie-down points – this way, the cooler can also be securely fastened during transport. Two durable rubber latches make opening and closing the cooler possible even with wet fingers or one-handed. In addition, the contents can be protected against unauthorized access via the reinforced locking plates with a padlock. Four feet provide stability even on slippery surfaces and also ensure constant air circulation on the underside.

Proper use of the cooler
• Cool down the cooler before use in a cold room or with ice
• Only fill with pre-cooled drinks and food
• Ideally, use large, solid blocks of ice
• Always place dry ice, ice packs, or ice on top, as cold sinks downwards
• Conscious and sparing opening
• When on the go, keep the box in a cool, shaded place and avoid direct sunlight.
• Store and transport in an upright position
