Petroleum Lamp HK500/829 Brass (High-Pressure Lantern)

The Petromax HK500 is arguably the best-known kerosene lamp in the world. With an impressive light output of over 400 watts, it combines unique high-pressure technology with an elegant, nostalgic design. Since its invention in 1910, the Petromax high-pressure lamp has illuminated the darkness and captivated people everywhere.

Weather-resistant and reliable light
The robust high-pressure lamp fascinates not only nostalgic enthusiasts, globetrotters, and outdoor fans with its bright light, but is also used by aid organizations and armed forces. Thanks to the highly heat-resistant borosilicate glass cylinder from Schott, wind and weather are no match for this reliable light source.

Unique high-pressure technology in German manufacturing quality
The excellent light output of the Petromax lamp is achieved through a simple yet fascinating principle: kerosene is guided under pressure into a carburetor, and the fuel, which evaporates as a result, reacts in a mantle impregnated with luminous salts to produce a bright, warm light. To ensure this principle works perfectly, the lamp, consisting of over 200 individual parts, is still assembled by hand.

The right accessory for everyone
In addition to various reflectors and storage and transport bags, many other accessories are available. For example, the Petromax lamp can be converted into a stove or a heater. Thanks to this large selection of high-quality accessories, the lamp can be individually expanded and equipped.
