Ether Light XT Extreme Insulated Sleeping Mat Large black (R-value: 7.4)

The XR Pro is a further development of the renowned Ether Light mats. Remaining true to its comfort and durability, the XR Pro features ThermalCore technology, which increases the insulation value while keeping weight and pack volume to a minimum. The Air Sprung Cell construction offers 10 cm of soft comfort, no matter where you sleep. The R-value for sleeping mats – What does it mean?
The R-value indicates how well a sleeping mat protects against cold from the ground. The higher the value, the better the thermal insulation – which is crucial for comfort and safety during outdoor adventures.

Which sleeping mat suits your trip?
R-value 0–2 → Light insulation, ideal for warm summer nights.
R-value 2–4 → Perfect for spring and autumn.
R-value 4–6 → Suitable for cold temperatures down to freezing.
R-value 6+ → Maximum thermal insulation for extreme winter tours and expeditions.
