About our Tactical Foodpack products
Tactical Foodpack meals were originally developed for special forces. Thanks to their high nutritional value and simple preparation, the food packs provide a wholesome meal even under extreme conditions. Due to the special production process, in which the dishes are freeze-dried, the food has a shelf life of several years. During the drying process, all water is removed from the ingredients without destroying the vitamins and nutrients contained. Since no preservatives, flavor enhancers, or regulators are added, Tactical Foodpacks are impressive due to their authentic taste.

Preparation
To prepare, tear open the pouch and remove the oxygen absorber. Then, water can be poured into the pouch to prepare the dish for consumption:

Generally, hot water should be poured into the pouch to prepare the dish. More precise details on the amount of water and the waiting time can be found on the back of the respective pouch.

If you do not have access to hot water, you can also easily prepare your dish with the Tactical Heater Bag (sold separately):

1. Take the heater pad out of the large packaging.
2. Remove the packaging from the heater pad and place the pad back on the bottom of the heater bag.
3. Fill the designated amount of water into the Tactical Foodpack meal and then place the sealed pouch into the heater bag (bottom part on the heater pad).
4. Pour approx. 150 ml of water into the heater bag (up to the marked line).
5. Quickly close the zip lock of the heater bag.
6. The heater reacts within 30 seconds to 3 minutes; the colder the water, the slower the reaction.
7. Let the food sit in the heater bag for 15-20 minutes. We recommend stirring the dish after 10 minutes.

Alternatively, Tactical Foodpack products can also be prepared directly over a fire. In an emergency, the dishes can also be prepared and consumed with cold water or even without water entirely.
