Preparation
To prepare, tear open the pouch and remove the oxygen absorber contained inside. Then, water can be poured into the pouch to prepare the dish for consumption:

Generally, hot water should be poured into the pouch to prepare the dish. More precise details on the amount of water and the waiting time can be found on the back of each pouch.

If you do not have access to hot water, you can also easily prepare your dish using the Tactical Heater Bag (sold separately):

1. Remove the heater pad from the large packaging.
2. Remove the heater pad's packaging and place the pad back at the bottom of the heater bag packaging.
3. Pour the specified amount of water into the Tactical Foodpack meal and then place the sealed pouch into the heater bag (bottom part on the heater pad).
4. Pour approx. 150 ml of water into the heater bag (up to the marked line).
5. Quickly close the zip lock of the heater bag.
6. The heater reacts within 30 seconds to 3 minutes; the colder the water, the slower the reaction.
7. Let the food stand in the heater bag for 15-20 minutes. We recommend stirring the dish after 10 minutes.

Alternatively, Tactical Foodpack products can also be prepared directly over a fire. In an emergency, the meals can also be prepared and consumed with cold water or even completely without water.
