Acetal is a thermoplastic, semi-crystalline plastic with high strength and hardness, combined with very good dimensional stability and chemical resistance. The material is characterized by good sliding and wear properties and high abrasion resistance. Acetal is excellently suited for the production of precision parts and is used by Tatonka for buckles and fasteners on backpacks. Thanks to a temperature resistance from -40°C to +132°C, they are easy to operate in any weather.
